Trellisick, Brambridge

Despite being on the edge of Colden Common, the site was situated within an area where new residential housing was not normally permitted under Winchester City Council’s planning policies.

Southern Planning Practice were instructed to advise on the development potential of the site.

We established that an old planning permission for 3 dwellings, which had only seen one of the dwellings built, could still be relied upon.

A Certificate of Lawfulness was therefore submitted demonstrating that the old permission has been lawfully commenced and that the two remaining dwellings could be built out. The Certificate was issued.

Our Architect, Steve Wickenden, then redesigned and updated the layout of the two dwellings.

A further planning application was submitted securing planning permission for the updated layout and designs.

The site was sold to a development company and the two dwellings were built out, and have since been sold and occupied.
