Meon Boscage

The property is located with the South Downs National Park and comprises land that is sylvan in character and frontage with the River Meon. The former tractor shed at the property is of brick construction under a tiled roof and included a mezzanine. The Practice successfully secured planning consent for conversion of the tractor shed to a fully self-contained holiday unit. Subsequently, officer advice was obtained by the Practice which confirmed that solar panels could be mounted on the roof and we were also able to secure planning consent by the planning committee for a back-up generator to supplement the electricity supply produced by the solar panels as needed. The conversion to luxury holiday accommodation has now been completed and is generating income through holiday letting. Visitors enjoy spending time in the surrounding woodland glades and along river frontage at the property. The holiday unit also provides visitors with a base from which to explore the National Park including walking and cycling directly from the site.
