  • Site on edge of Andover on land allocated for commercial use

The proposal was for a large commercial building of 24,034 sq m, comprising B2 with ancillary B1 and B8 uses, to enable a large multi-national company to consolidate its operations, which had been spread around Andover, in one location. A lift test tower was an essential component of the project.

The Solution -

A team of consultants were assembled, led by the Practice. Early dialogue, which is essential for schemes of this nature, took place with the Planners. This drew out the key issues and the scheme was developed with these in mind. As part of the requirements an EIA was prepared by the Practice.
