Extension of a Grade II Listed Cottage to bring the accommodation up to modern living standards.

The cottage is situated at the heart of a rural village Conservation Area and is opposite the Listed Church.

The project successfully gained planning and Listed Building consents and involved pre-application discussion with Officers to agree:

• Demolition of ancillary outbuildings
• Erection of a single storey side extension with a mono-pitch roof

The design scheme achieved reorganisation of the internal layout of the accommodation as well as a new kitchen and a dining room whilst improving the visual charm of the property and the Conservation Area in which it is located.
